In late 2010, Bucks County Council announced that it was minded to transfer 14 libraries to community control – including Ivinghoe. A summary of BCC’s plans are available to download as a pdf.
The Friends of Ivinghoe Library was reconstituted in March 2011 to explore how the community could take a bigger role in running the library.

The committee was established at our March meeting. Our committee members are:
- Emma Huxley (secretary) Emma has lived in Ivinghoe since autumn 2010. She works in London as a journalist and is fitting into life in the area (including cycling with the Vinghoe Velos at the weekend)
